"Paperless World"

In a new media lecture tonight, we were asked to text message the Dean of Students, who was hosting the panel, with questions for the speakers. If this abandonment of paper keeps up, how will Dunder Mifflin stay in business?

------

I had a terrific weekend in Berkeley. I miss the Bay Area already. What time zone am I in now, anyway? Plus, I think there is a tiny raincloud floating over my head, because it has rained on both coasts while I was there and here in NYC. But it's probably better that I left when I did. It would have been weird there another day, when all my friends would be at work. I found out that Cal is playing at Maryland (right outside of Washington D.C.) next year. Sweet. East coast football game! Go Bears.

"Wilted Roses"

I hate LA sometimes. I don't get this from the team who beat Tennessee and who beat Oregon AT Oregon. I guess I'm buying a plane ticket to either San Diego, El Paso, or Las Vegas for winter break now. Oh god, I hope I don't have to end up with only one ticket to the Emerald Bowl in SF...

But I still have faith in the Cal Bears. And if it doesn't work out, we're still a better school.

"Productivity"

So, on this sleepy, slightly chilly day and end to a disappointing weekend (not just the thing that happened yesterday at Cal that will not be named), I tried to be productive. Here is a list of what I did today:

- woke up late
- lied in bed, drinking coffee, while watching Meet the Press (I still much prefer Babar on Saturday mornings...)
- changed my seats on my return Jet Blue flight to N.Y. in November to sit with Chappy & Peter
- ate at Picante in Harlem - the first real Mexican food I've had since the day before I left Calif. in August
- worked on my website for three hours
- practiced trumpet for 30 minutes
- practiced piano (I can now - sort of - play "Edelweiss"!!)
- formulated questions for my business article that I have to report on tomorrow
- watched The Office on TV Links

Here goes another endless, strenuous week with the glimmer of watching another Cal football game at MJs with my friends on Saturday. GO BEARS! (please, please win!!)
